Interceptor Traps produced by Absolute Concrete are essentially a Precast Concrete container that acts to
capture and retain greasy and or oily fluids inside the unit between its multiple chambers. The grease and
oil rise to the top of each chamber while the rest of the liquid passes beneath The interceptor trap may be
supplied in a number of different sizes and capacities to match the required application and to conform with
Local Authority regulations.

Application

Interceptor Traps are designed as an addition to Cafes, Restaurants, for Commercial Kitchens or for
Protection prior to Wastewater systems.

Features

Interceptor Traps come in many sizes and configurations to suit a range of flow applications and regulatory
requirements. Standard sizes we make are 360 litre, 2,000 litre and 4,500 litre.

They are fitted with are fitted with strategically placed lifting anchors cast into the concrete,
to allow for safe off-loading, and efficient and economical installation. Each unit is manufactured with PVC fittings cast into the structure.

Manufacturing standards

Interceptor Traps by Absolute Concrete are produced in accordance with NZS.3109:1997. With surface
finishes to NZS 3114:1987. They are manufactured in 40MPa concrete for high durability. Marine options
are also available on request.
